CHEMICAL PEELS
Your esthetician can assess your skin to determine the best peel for you at time of service.
The 20% Lactic Lightening Peel contains lactic acid, a milk-based ingredient that is great for hydrating and exfoliating the skin in a gentle manner. The peel also includes two superb lighteners. This is a gentle peel and is great for first-time clients. Visible peeling generally does not occur. Best results will be seen when performed in a series of peels.
Exfoliates, softens, hydrates, lightens
Contains:- L-Lactic Acid, an alpha hydroxy acid working as an exfoliant, which allows dead skin cells to slough off and make room for regrowth of new skin. It improves roughness, softens skin, and improves the appearance of wrinkles.
- Alpha-Arbutin is from the bearberry plant; it is a non-irritating skin brightener. It is a natural alternative to hydroquinone.
- Kojic Acid inhibits melanin production by inhibiting tyrosinase. It also provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations.
The 30% Glycolic Peel is an excellent cell renewal peel and is a great classic on its own. It is also an excellent booster to any enzyme. The glycolic acid dissolves the desmosomes that hold skin together to allow for an efficient exfoliation. Visible peeling generally will not occur. Best results will be seen when performed in a series of peels.
Desquamates skin cells, exfoliates, softens, reduces keratinization, treats mild to moderate acne, minimizes pore size
Contains:- Glycolic Acid weakens desmosomes, allowing the dead skin cells to dissolve to reveal healthier, smoother, brighter looking skin.
- Witch Hazel is a flowering plant; it is a strong antioxidant and astringent that is often used as a natural remedy for psoriasis, eczema, and other skin conditions.
- Fructooligosaccharides (D-beta) are naturally occurring carbohydrates derived from cane or beet sugar. This ingredient promotes growth of healthy probiotic bacteria to strengthen skin immunity.
The 10% TCA Depigmentation Peel is mild but very effective and delivers lighteners down to the melanocyte without traumatizing the skin. The TCA Peel is buffered with azelaic, arbutin and kojic acids, which are tyrosinase inhibitors that control hyperpigmentation, melasma, or sun damage for all Fitzpatricks 1-6. The combination of these acids is a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone, reducing acne, and retexturing the skin. This is the strongest peel and the client will leave with the peel product on the face to remove at bedtime or up to 8 hours later. There will be visible peeling of the skin that will differ with different people/skin types. Proper at-home skin regime recommended. Best results will be seen when performed in a series of peels.
Evens skin tone, softens, reduces acne, exfoliates
Contains:- Trichloroacetic Acid, great for peeling the skin to make room for regrowth of new skin. It improves wrinkling and roughness, and softens skin.
- Azelaic Acid inhibits tyrosinase activity to reduce pigmentation. It is effective in treating a number of skin conditions such as acne, inflammation, and hyperpigmentation. It is naturally antibacterial, which makes it a great treatment for acne.
- Alpha-Arbutin is from the bearberry plant; it is a non-irritating skin brightener. It is a natural alternative to hydroquinone.
- Kojic Acid inhibits melanin production by inhibiting the tyrosinase enzyme. It also provides gradual and continual skin brightening to relieve skin discolorations.
